Christmas changed the world

One day, about two thousand years ago, in the small, yet stuffed town of Bethlehem in Judea, Jesus took His first breath as a baby. That one breath was a miracle that shook our world upside down.

God, the Creator of everything, entered His creation, becoming one of us.

Angles told shepherds nearby of the unbelievable event. A star shone like a single candle, guiding wise men from the east to meet the one who made it all.

About thirty years later Jesus took his last breath hanging on a cross paying the price for our sins, fulfilling the mission He was born to accomplish. The creation creaked and groaned when this happened, testifying to His creatorship. (Luke 23:44-46)

Jesus came to save us, all of us. (Romans 1:16) That’s the whole reason we celebrate His birthday on December 25. He died for the people in Israel as well as those in Africa, Asia, Europe, the Americas and Australia. His birth brought us hope. Christmas changed millions of lives all over the world.
