Bible reading 101

Have you ever thought about reading the Bible all the way through? It’s not easy! I can tell you that! I just finished reading from Genesis to Revelation for the 3rd time and I know how hard it is.

When you set out to read the Bible from cover to cover, you are going to need a few things to succeed. #1 A Bible, #2 Motivation, #3 A Plan. Without those three key things you will not succeed.

I have talked to many Christians about reading the Bible. Very few of them have actually read the whole Bible. For some it was because they just didn’t have their Bible accessible when they might have had time to read it. Others simply lack motivation. They don’t have someone who will encourage them to read their Bible. And yet others can’t figure out where to start, they have no plan.

This is a serious problem. Most adult Christians who attend a Church gathering every Sunday have not read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. I wanted to do something about that.

So this January Project N8 was born. Project N8 is a group of Christians who read through the Bible together in 6 months. Project N8 is a community that gives the encouragement that we need to read the Bible through. It’s online, and you can do it no matter where you live.

We need to read the Bible. Will you try?

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
